The University of Nairobi’s 6th Open Day began on April 28th  and ended on 30th, 2016 at the Great Court, Main Campus. The Dept. of Vet. Anatomy and Physiology had their stand with the CAVS’s. to display their quality of services and products. The Department of Vet. Anatomy has been assembling animal skeletons for various institutions within and out of the country.

BVM1 student at Vet Anatomy & Physiology Department Lesley Sercombel is a great jockey. Lesley has been a star for horse racing. In 2013, Lesley led Nutcraker to victory during the Kenya Guineas Cup 160m race at Ngong Race course on January 19th 2013. Photo below. 1st year Egerton University students visit Department of Vet. Anatomy & Physilogy  for practical lessons. This was a two day visit where they under went intense physiology practicals covering frog muscles, frog heart, smooth intestinal muscle, electocardiogram, (E.C.G), haemological parameters, spirometry and blood pressure.

The efficacy studies includes Acute oral toxicity tests, Acute dermal, Acute inhalation tests, Skin sensitization and Skin irritation tests.
