The University of Nairobi’s 6th Open Day began on April 28th  and ended on 30th, 2016 at the Great Court, Main Campus. The Dept. of Vet. Anatomy and Physiology had their stand with the CAVS’s. to display their quality of services and products. The Department of Vet. Anatomy has been assembling animal skeletons for various institutions within and out of the country.

1st Year Wildlife students go Bird watching for a field study lesson

1st Year student of BSc Wildlife management go on a practical bird watch field course. In this field course they are required to identify by name as many birds as possible and keep records. They visited the Aboratum forest reserve for this practical on 29th March 2016. They have regular  field courses to identify different kinds of wild life animals.


Toxicological studies for New pest control products ongoin at the Department of Vet. Anatomy.

The Dept of Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology, University of Nairobi has been awarded a permit by the Pest Control Products Board to undertake toxicological studies for New pest control products.
The efficacy studies includes Acute oral toxicity tests, Acute dermal, Acute inhalation tests, Skin sensitization and Skin irritation tests.
