Dr Nasimolo is back from the USA, where he spent four and a half months in Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, on a USDA Faculty Exchange Program. The fellowship was aimed at improving teaching and research in Veterinary Schools in Africa, by pairing young faculty from Africa for one semester, with faculty in US Veterinary Schools. During the fellowship in Michigan State University, Dr. Nasimolo worked under Dr. Ioana Sonea and Dr. Jack Harkema. There were twelve faculty staff from Africa, six of whom went to Michigan State University, and the other half went to Ohio State University. We welcome Dr. Nasimolo back, and look forward to benefitting from his gained experience in teaching and research.
